And I am completely sold! It just felt...right. The one I drove was a NISMO AWD with the CVT (which in manumatic mode was fucking amazing!) so I will be going back in a week or so, and putting down an order for a 2014 Juke NISMO 6MT FWD

Kinja'd!!!

Here's a potato-tastic preview of what my car will look like soon enough!

Oh also, funny story... I ran out of gas on the test drive... yeah... that was funny, so I had to wait for 35 minutes in a parking lot for them to bring some gas for the car. Still, it's a nice place to sit and spend a few hours in!

EDIT: Forgot to add this, but if any oppos in the Seattle area are in the market for a Nissan or a Pre-owned vehicle, go to Nissan of the Eastside! My experience at the dealership was awesome! no one was pushy, and they let us pick our salesperson (we had a referral to a guy named Bob, who was really nice, and quite knowledgeable!)

I'm curious, if the AWD/CVT was so amazing, why are you going to get the 6MT/FWD instead?

If it's $$$, then I get it. No worries.

Not many people are fans of a CVT, so hear such praise makes me wonder why you aren't going for it.

Congratufreakinlations Man!!! I think the Juke is the only Nissan product I would be interested in. I adore its out there design, and attitude. Very Jelly, be sure to post about it!

I still don't understand why they don't make an AWD manual juke. I'm sticking with my awd 6mt Suzuki sx4

Well, in slapstick sport mode, it was quick to shift, and it held gears (didn't upshift with the simulated gears). I liked it, but I do prefer having a manual. Around town, it's great, but I'd rather shift my own way!

I already like it quite a bit. The cabin layout is nice, but forward visibility is a bit weird, due to the big lights up front

Agreed. Rowing your own is way more fun.

I also like the Juke. It's different, and in a sea-of-same it's nice to see polarizing design.

Just curious, have you driven either of the ST twins? They are sort of competition for this.

no, I was going to, and I still want to, but mom who's financing this arrangement, said no to the FoST, due to it being "too powerful" and no to the Fist for being "too small"

yeah, it is! they had a whole corner dedicated to them at the dealership, and they had 3 white NISMO jukes parked side by side!

Ah, I see. I can definitely see where she'd think that on the Focus, but the Fiesta and Juke are actually pretty similar in size and interior dimensions.

Still, very interested to hear how it turns out. That car looks fun as hell.

It is! It's light on it's feet, and the 1.6 is very rev happy! Expect a review by early September!

Awesome and super jealous! I almost got one but the lease was ridiculous on it so I had to pass. I've tried pushing it on a few other Opponauts.

Much cooler choice than the Fiesta/Focus ST or BRZ/FRS

I loved test-driving it! pulled well, handled great, and stopped on a dime! I'm also gonna start pushing it on people now, haha! The sound system in this one was AMAZING! the Rockford-Fostgate system is perfection!

And it does look unique, doesn't it? :)

Something to consider about the Juke, unless it has changed. Last time I checked it requires premium fuel. Factor that in to your cost of ownership when deciding what to get.

I actually stepped foot into a Nissan dealer for the first time to see a Nismo RS Juke. The seats on that thing are amazing. Actually, the whole interior is really cool and nice. And, its not a bad deal for the money.

Think of as the competitor to the not yet existing, but maybe will shortly, Escape ST????

I would counter that with Transit ST; but it would appear something like that is already made. :)
